About Us

The Skunk River Cruzers of Colfax, IA, is a non-profit club of car enthusiasts who build and show their
own cars. Our club’s objectives are to promote the craft of building and restoring classic cars through
shared knowledge, and to specifically involve younger members in order to preserve these skills for future generations.

There are no particular requirements for belonging to the club except an interest in learning about or working on automobiles. You need not own any particular make, age, or style of car, or for that matter, any car at all.

We host one annual car show, and use the proceeds from it to support community projects and sponsor other local functions.

After-prom party for Colfax/Mingo High School
Colfax Mineral Springs Day Celebration
Colfax Halloween Walk
Purchased a message generator which provides a Community
Calendar on the Cable TV network in the Colfax/Mingo area.
The calendar service is run by the Colfax/Mingo High School.

The club was founded in the fall of 2000
